To the fans of the Washington Mystics,

I want to personally take this time to thank you all for the love, dedication, cheering and excitement you brought to my months here as a Mystics player. Just for the record, I want to thank you for your support of this league and this organization throughout the years. You guys have been a source of constant excitement throughout the league and I know you all will continue to support this league and this team and the legacy that Coach Kenlaw and Dr. Johnson are both trying to establish here.

I hope that along with my consistent smile, I brought a little something special for the time I was here. I want you all to know that I gave my all each time I was on the floor. I know you all would have loved more wins, as I would, but what happened all happens for a reason. I am a believer in fate and destiny, and I couldn't ask for a better place to be. Thanks for your faith in this old lady and my old lady moves.

Please continue to support this team as you have, as I know you will. I hope and pray that this thing will get turned around soon. I know you all will continue to rally behind Coach Jessie. She is doing something awesome with this team, and maybe you will not recognize it right away, but she is laying the foundation for what is to come for this franchise. Winning doesn't start with the games, winning starts in the locker room, in those practices, in those film sessions; all the things you as fans do not get a chance to witness. When I see those "Believe" signs, I know that in my heart you all do. Thanks for the trust in me and my skills.

I will think fondly of this time.
