WASHINGTON MYSTICS VISIT THE CHILDREN’S IN AT NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH (NIH)

Washington, D.C. – As part of the league wide "Week of Caring," Washington Mystics players, Crystal Robinson, Coco Miller, Laurie Koehn and DeLisha Milton Jones, took some time to visit with children and families at the Children's Inn at the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Wednesday. The players did arts and crafts with the kids, set up a reading corner and helped the kids with their dribbling.

The NIH opens its doors to children and families from around the world because conventional treatments have failed to have sufficient impact on their illnesses. Children receive treatment for illnesses such as cancer, heart, lung, blood, bone and growth disorders, mental illness and HIV infection.
