Josh’s Kids is a special section at Verizon Center that provides seats at Mystics home games for Washington metropolitan area nonprofit organizations and schools.

Founded by Lincoln Holdings LLC, the ownership group of the Washington Mystics and the NHL’s Washington Capitals, Josh’s Kids was created in memory of the group’s partner, Joshua M. Freeman, who died in a tragic helicopter accident Dec. 14, 2006.

The Josh’s Kids initiative makes tickets available to local non-profit organizations and schools with tax-exempt status. These organizations then will be able to bring students, members, staff and volunteers to Capitals games free of charge.

“Josh held the deep conviction that we have a responsibility to those less fortunate than ourselves, and he also had a passion for athletics that was evident in everything he did,” said Michelle Freeman. “This program is such a wonderful combination of those two virtues – it is a great way to remember him. I know he would be proud that his passion and dedication has been translated into such an innovative opportunity for children.”

Tickets for our upcoming season are going quickly. If you are interested in receiving tickets email JoshsKids@WashMystics.com.
