On Monarchs Fans:
Brittany Wilkins:
How important are the Monarchs fans and what do they mean to you?
"Well the Monarchs fans – I mean you can’t really describe how great they are. They show up every game – win or lose. If we’re coming off of a loss, they’re always there to pick us up and that’s just what’s great about having fans that are dedicated. I mean they aren’t based on wins and losses so I’m excited. I think they’re excited for this coach to come in. I’m excited playing for them again."
Kim Smith:
What do Monarchs fans mean to you?
"You know they’re such amazing fans. They’re always very supportive and it’s so good to have such a big number of people that come out and watch. They really are the best fans in the league when you go around and play so it’s such a neat atmosphere to play in and I think it really energizes you as a player."

How excited are you for the upcoming season and how important are the fans?
"First of all the fans are the sixth men. Coming off the bench or starting a game, you’re playing for your fans! For them to come out and support you more and just having that support around you gives you this boost of energy, makes you energetic, and you just feed off the crowd. And it makes the game more exciting."
