In Russian League action on Thursday DeMya Walker and her team, Nadezhda, defeated Dynamo Kursk, 92-77. Walker totaled 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and one block in the win.

Nicole Powell and her team, CSKA, won 85-58 over BC Moscow. Powell finished with three points, three rebounds and one steal.

In the FIBA EuroLeague Quarter-Final Play-Offs on Friday Nicole Powell and her team CSKA lost, 94-90, to Ekaterinburg. Powell totaled 24 minutes, 12 points, two rebounds and one assist in the loss.

In FIBA EuroCup action on Thursday Rebekkah Brunson, Linda Fröhlich, Yolanda Griffith and their team, Taranto Cras Basket, defeated Elizur Ramla, 84-62. Brunson was the game leader with a double-double, 32 points and 14 rebounds. Fröhlich added 19 points and six boards, while Griffith chipped in five points and five rebounds in the win.

In FIBA EuroCup action on Thursday Rebekkah Brunson, Linda Fröhlich and their team, Cras Basket Taranto tied Gorzow, 72-72. Fröhlich was the game-leader on the boards with 10 rebounds and added 20 points and three assists while Brunson led all scorers with 21 points and chipped in nine rebounds, one assist and one block.

In the Russian League Nicole Powell and her team, CSKA, defeated Dynamo 92-76. Powell totaled eight minutes, five points, one assist and one steal in the victory.

In FIBA EuroLeague action on Wednesday Ticha Penicheiro’s team, TTT Riga, lost 68-65 to Phard Napoli. Penicheiro scored four points, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out one assist and recorded two steals.

Kim Smith and her team, Dexia Namur, dropped to 1-9 after a 93-58 loss to Gambrinus Brno. Smith recorded eight points, 10 boards, four assists and one steal.
