DeMya was costumed as Miss Hannigan from the hit musical "Annie" while Zachara portrayed Annie. Calendars may be purchased at the Magic Circle box office and at select merchants in Roseville.
Members of the Sacramento Monarchs were at Golden State Middle School in West Sacramento on Wednesday as they hosted a special youth basketball clinic. The clinic, part of a nationwide WNBA Clinic Series presented by Discover Card, allowed participants to interact with Monarchs legend Ruthie Bolton, Head Coach Jenny Boucek and guard Ticha Penicheiro. The students learned about strength, endurance and flexibility techniques as a way to improve their bodies, minds and athletic performances.
