The Sacramento Monarchs have the unique opportunity to inspire and empower both young girls and women to reach for their dreams. The team has created a number of outreach programs, primarily focused on literacy and breast health awareness, which will reach local youngsters and families in need and at risk and make a positive and meaningful difference in their lives.

Breast Health Awareness
For the 12th consecutive year, the Monarchs have adopted Breast Health Awareness as a community initiative and the team has designated the July 18, Monarchs vs. Atlanta Dream game as "Breast Health Awareness Night.” The league-wide event is designed to educate women on the issues associated with good breast health and honors breast cancer survivors.

Adrienne Maloof Camp Kindness
The Sacramento SPCA's premier humane education program is made possible due to the generosity of sponsor Adrienne Maloof.

Adrienne Maloof's Camp Kindness and Animal Adventure Club at the Sacramento SPCA is a comprehensive, year-round program serving more than 250 children annually. This includes after-school programs, day camps, and humane education activities for kids.

Celebrate Your Birthday With the Monarchs
During the entire 2008 Sacramento Monarchs season, fans with an already purchased ticket to a Monarchs game can request a “Happy Birthday” announcement that will be placed on the MonarchsVision video board at the start of halftime.

The Happy Birthday Announcement is available for a fee of $50, and Monarchs fans can submit a special photo of the birthday celebrant to accompany their birthday announcement for a fee of $100. All proceeds benefit the Maloofs & You Foundation.

For Birthday Photos:
Please submit your photo and name of birthday celebrant to: communityrelations@arcoarena.com. Photos must be submitted at least two business days prior to the game day. All photos must be formatted as a TGA, TIF or JPG file, with resolution between 640x480 and 800x600 at 72 dpi. Photos are subject to approval by Maloof Sports & Entertainment. Profanity, nudity and advertising of non-Maloof Sports & Entertainment partner brands are prohibited.

Donation Request
Non-profit organizations or schools may write or fax a letter requesting an item for a fundraiser (raffle or auction).

Please include all of the following information:

• Donation letter on letterhead of the organization
• Exact date of the event

• Contact person’s name, mailing address and telephone number
• Non-profit or tax ID number
• Brief description of the event
• 30-45 Days prior to the event

Organizations will be contacted 2-3 weeks prior to their event to coordinate a pickup. To meet the needs of our community requests, please remember that Donations are limited to one request per organization within a 12-month period. Due to items not making their destinations we are unable to send donations in the mail. Concession Stand Program
Groups must be at least 18 years of age and be a 501C3 nonprofit organization or school.

• At least 20-30 volunteers must work at individual events
• Groups must commit to a minimum of 8-10 events during the next 12 months
• Your group will receive an 8% commission

Vendor Program
Groups must be at least 18 years of age and be a 501C3 nonprofit organization or school.

• Physically demanding - you will be walking up & down stairs with your product
• Groups must be at least 18 years of age and be a 501C3 nonprofit organization or school
• At least 8-10 volunteers must work at individual events
• Groups must commit to a minimum of 8-10 events during the next 12 months
• Your group will receive a 15% commission

Monarchs Good Sports Program
Team up with the Monarchs in 2008 and help to make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of children in need and at-risk in the Sacramento region.
