On Saturday, November 16, Edna Campbell, Ticha Penicheiro and Yolanda Griffith joined Maloof Sports & Entertainment President John Thomas, members of the Kings Women’s Organization, various members of the Royal Court Dance Team and Maloof Sports & Entertainment employees to host Thanksgiving dinner for people in need in the Sacramento area.
For the ninth year in a row, Maloof Sports & Entertainment teamed up with TLC Soup Kitchen to host Thanksgiving dinner and serve more than 1,500 meals at the Robertson Community Center in the Del Paso Heights.
Campbell, Penicheiro and Griffith served hot meals to those in attendance. Fans were excited to chat with the players and they signed numerous autographs for fans.
“It feels good to be able to give back to the community that has been so supportive of us,” said Griffith. “It means a lot to know that we made a difference here today.”
Maloof Sports & Entertainment is dedicated to making a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people in-need and at-risk in the Sacramento area. By teaming up with the TLC Soup Kitchen, Maloof Sports & Entertainment was able to provide hundreds of people with a warm, delicious Thanksgiving meal.
