On to the Conference Finals!
The Phoenix Mercury advanced to the Western Conference Finals with their Game 2 win over the Seattle Storm, 95-89, on Sunday. Cappie Pondexter led the way with 25 points and five boards in the win. Phoenix will now play the winner of the Sacramento-San Antonio series, beginning Thursday on the road. Game 2 of Round 2 will be held back at US Airways Center on Saturday.
