The win is the Lynx' first ever at Conseco Fieldhouse and Minnesota's second in a row against the Fever. The Lynx have tied the all-time series vs. Indiana at 3-3.

The win wrapped up the Lynx' third of five back-to-back sets this season. Minnesota is 2-1 in both the first game and the second game of back-to-backs. The Lynx are 4-1 on Saturdays this season.

Minnesota held Indiana to 31.8% on Saturday, the Lynx' top defensive percentage of the season; they've kept nine of their last 13 foes under 40% (a combined 39.4%), including San Antonio's 38.3% effort on Friday.

The game featured 19 lead changes, 15 of which came in the first half. Lynx center Janell Burse's bucket with nine minutes left in the game gave Minnesota a lead they would not relinquish the rest of the way.

Burse blocked a franchise-record and career-high five shots, adding a game- and career-high nine rebounds. Burse is averaging 11.3 points and 7.0 rebounds in 24.3 minutes per game in the last three contests, all starts.

Going 4-6 from 3-pt range, Lynx guard Katie Smith extended her streak of games with at least one three-pointer to a league-record 30 in a row. Smith has hit two or more 3-pt FG in the last eight games, tying the third-longest streak in WNBA history. She also became the first player in league history to reach the 350 career trey mark. Smith led all scorers with 21 points, the 12th time this season she has scored at least 20.

Lynx forward Sheri Sam scored 20 points, a season high, including 14 in the second half. She has scored in double figures nine times in 10 July games. Including a 1-for-3 effort from three-point range on Saturday, Sam has hit eight of her last 19 three-pointers.

Lynx guard Teresa Edwards handed out a game- and season-high eight assists, increasing her average to 4.5 apg, sixth in the WNBA. She added 10 points, her third double-figure scoring game of the season.

The Fever's Tamika Catchings scored the 1,000th point in her WNBA career. Having reached the mark in her 54th game, she is the second-fastest player in league history to reach that mark, topping Jennifer Gillom's 55 and exceeded only by Cynthia Cooper's 45.
