Lynx Release Wright-Greene

May 6, 2004 — The Lynx today announced the team has released guard Chanel Wright-Greene. Wright-Greene, a former North Carolina star, was signed by the Lynx as a free agent on April 25. In one preseason game, Wright-Greene scored two points, registered two rebounds and dealt out two assists in 12 minutes.

The Lynx open their sixth WNBA regular season on Thursday, May 20 against the Seattle Storm at 9:00 p.m. CDT at KeyArena. Minnesota's 11-player roster must be finalized by Wednesday, May 19. The team may also have two players on the Injured List.
