Lynx and Sol Complete Trade

June 13, 2002 — The Lynx have sent their first-round draft pick in the 2003 WNBA Draft to Miami for the Sol's 2003 second-round draft pick in order to complete Tuesday's Tamara Moore-Betty Lennox trade.

On Wednesday, Lennox failed her physical with Miami, which gave the Sol the opportunity to void the trade if the two teams did not mutually agree to amend the terms. In 2001, Lennox missed 21 games due to a strained left hip capsule she suffered at Detroit on June 17. She underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair the hip on Nov. 26.

Moore, a 5-11 guard, will practice today with the Lynx and will be in uniform for tonight's game against the Portland Fire at Target Center. Tonight's game will be telecast on Fox Sports Net at 7 p.m.
