In celebration of the league’s eighth season, the WNBA will offer its fans the chance to win cash, a luxury vacation, and other great prizes through a series of local promotions as part of the Summer of Dreams campaign. The campaign begins Saturday, April 17 and runs throughout the season, ending on September 21.

In the first series of "Summer of Dreams" promotions, called “Shoot for your Dreams,” a fan from each WNBA team market, 13 in total, will win the opportunity to shoot a layup for $1,000. The fan will then shoot a free throw for a chance to win $10,000 and, if successful, shoot a 3-pointer for a chance to win $100,000.
