Sept. 2, 2004 — The Lynx today announced the team has signed free agent forward Gwen Slaughter. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Slaughter was signed by Minnesota as a free agent on April 26, 2004 and moved to the team's Injured List on May 28. The Lynx released Slaughter on June 7. Averaging 3.0 mpg in two regular-season contests, Slaughter totaled two points, one rebound and one block.

The 6-3 forward will be in uniform for Minnesota during the Lynx' game tomorrow vs. the Indiana Fever at Target Center at 7:00 p.m.
