Lynx Sign Guard Tynesha Lewis

Minneapolis/St. Paul - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed guard Tynesha Lewis for the remainder of the 2005 season. Lewis’ second seven-day contract, signed on July 17, was due to expire before tonight’s game.

Lewis signed her first seven-day contract with the Lynx on July 11. She is averaging 3.0 points and 1.3 assists in 9.7 minutes played. Lewis played in 10 games for Charlotte this season and averaged 4.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg in 16.6 mpg prior to being waived on July 6.
