Minneapolis/St. Paul - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has released guard Tasha Butts.
Butts, drafted by the Lynx in the second round (20th overall) of the 2004 WNBA Draft, played in 30 games off the bench for Minnesota a season ago, averaging 2.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 14.1 minutes per game. She appeared in all three (one start) 2005 preseason games for the Lynx.
