May 16, 2003 The Lynx today announced the team has re-signed guard Kristi Harrower. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Harrower participated in her first practice with the Lynx on Friday.

Minnesota's training camp roster currently stands at 15. The team's 11-player roster must be finalized by Wednesday, May 21. The Lynx may also have two players on the Injured List.

Harrower, 28, completed the 2002 WNBA campaign with 3.6 ppg and 2.0 apg in 27 contests (six starts). In two years with the Lynx, she has appeared in 31 games (seven starts) and averaged 3.8 ppg and 2.1 apg. The 5-4 point guard missed most of the 2001 season with a knee injury. Prior to joining the Lynx, Harrower played two seasons with the Phoenix Mercury (1998, 1999). She joins the team after having played in France with Aix en Provence during the 2002-03 offseason.

Harrower, the starting point guard for the Australian National Team, has enjoyed success at the international level. Harrower won a bronze medal as a member of Australia's women's basketball team at the 14th FIBA World Championships in China in September 2002. She also won a silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

The Lynx open their fifth WNBA regular season on Saturday, May 24 against the Sacramento Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. at Target Center.
