Quote of the Week

Moore
"Nobody really expected Minnesota to produce such great women athletes. Now we're just showing what we were capable of. We always knew we had the talent, and it's nice to be able to showcase it here at home."
Guard Tamara Moore, commenting on some of the former Minnesota high school basketball stars (Coco and Kelly Miller, Maren Walseth and herself) who are currently playing in the WNBA. The quote appeared in the Minneapolis Star Tribune on July 3, 2002.
