WNBA Fact
For the fourth consecutive year, the WNBA season will consist of a 32-game
schedule for each team. In the WNBA's inaugural season in 1997, each team
played 28 games. The following year, the schedule was increased to 30
regular-season games. The league implemented the 32-game schedule at the
beginning of the 1999 campaign.

Lynx Spotlight
Lynn Pride finished her collegiate career at Kansas fifth all-time in points (1,774), third in rebounds (863), fourth in steals (279), fourth in blocked shots (93) and third in minutes (3,789). She joined four-time All-American Lynette Woodard as the only
Kansas players to reach 1,700 points, 850 rebounds and 250 steals. As a high school senior, Pride was ranked as one of the nation's top five players by Blue Star Report.
