Quote of the Week

"Katie [Smith] may always be under-appreciated by people — until they play against her. I think she's certainly one of the top 10 players in our league. I'm hard-pressed to think what there is she can't do well."
—Former Washington Mystics general manager Melissa McFerrin. The quote appeared in the September 2001 edition of Slam Magazine.
