Lynx Release Bulger

May 17, 2004 — The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has released guard Kate Bulger. Bulger was selected by Minnesota in the third round (38th overall) of the 2004 WNBA Draft. She posted averages of 2.7 ppg, 1.0 rpg and 10 mpg in three 2004 preseason games. The 5-11 guard scored 1,265 points and made 301 three-pointers during her career at West Virginia.

The Lynx open their sixth WNBA regular season on Thursday against the Seattle Storm at 9:00 p.m. CDT at KeyArena. Minnesota's 11-player roster must be finalized by Wednesday, May 19. The team may also have two players on the Injured List.
