lynxbasketball.com: What was it like to compete in and win the skills competition?
Seimone Augustus: When it first started for me, I was all about showing the fans a good time because I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t even think I would get through the first obstacle, but once I advanced to the second round I took it a little more serious. It was the veteran vs. the rookie and I’m saying who they were, but there was some betting going on so I had to lock in and focus for the rookies and represent.
lynxbasketball.com: How do you think the rookies performed at all-star?
Seimone Augustus: Overall I think we did well. I know that Cappie would have liked to play a little better but for four rookies to be a part of it is amazing. But I think we represented ourselves well and to show that the future of the league is in great hands with the rookies we have.
lynxbasketball.com: What are your goals in the second half?
Seimone Augustus: To make the playoffs. We need to get this going, gain some momentum and confidence and hopefully make a run.
