Seimone Augustus: Honestly, I really didn’t even think about it. I knew that it was something that I wanted to accomplish in my career but it never occurred to me that it would happen in my rookie season. I just wanted to come in, play good basketball and try to help my team win.

Seimone Augustus: Most of the players came up to me before I could see them out. I knew that I really wanted to spend some time with Lisa Leslie because you always hear that she is someone you can’t approach but she was very nice. Seimone Augustus: It was just great to be on the floor with some of the greatest to play the game. They kept telling me to shoot and I really wanted to do was to get Lisa (Leslie) the ball… I wanted to see Sheryl do her thing on the court. I was just enjoying everything. I didn’t care if I scored. It was a joy for me to pass the ball to these ladies.
