The Lynx suffered their first franchise loss to the defending WNBA champion Houston Comets, 69-55, on June 19, 1999 at Target Center. At the time, it was a showdown between the only remaining undefeated WNBA teams (Lynx 2-0, Houston 3-0). Houston is the only team that the Lynx have never defeated (0-10) in the team's three seasons.
