Lynx Activate Schweitzer, Place Adams On Injured List

June 1, 2003 — The Lynx today announced the team has activated guard Georgia Schweitzer from the Injured List and placed forward Jordan Adams on the IL with a lower back strain.

Schweitzer, a third-year guard from Duke, was placed on the Injured List on May 21 with a meniscal contusion on her right knee. Adams, a 2003 second-round draft pick (18th overall) from New Mexico, has not appeared in any of the Lynx' three regular-season games this season. Per league rules, she must remain on the IL for a minimum of three games.

Minnesota hosts the four-time WNBA champion Houston Comets today at Target Center beginning at 5:00 p.m.
