May 4, 2003 The Lynx today announced the team has re-signed forward Svetlana Abrosimova. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Minnesota's 2003 training camp roster currently stands at 15.

Abrosimova, 22, was the seventh overall selection by Minnesota in the 2001 WNBA Draft. In two seasons with the Lynx, Abrosimova has averaged 12.4 ppg and 6.0 rpg in 53 contests (50 starts). In 2002, the 6-2 forward finished second on the team in scoring (11.6 ppg) and rebounding (5.4 rpg), and topped the team in steals (1.56 spg, 15th in WNBA).

Abrosimova ranks among the Lynx' all-time leaders in the following categories: points (657, third), FGM (233, third), FGA (609, third), FTM (152, second), FTA (248, second), 3-FGM (39, fifth), 3-FGA (136, fourth), defensive rebounds (232, second), total rebounds (320, second), assists (113, fourth), steals (84, second) and minutes (1,651, second). Her nine career double-doubles ranks first on the Lynx' all-time list.
