Record-Setting Performance

With Minnesota's 96-74 defeat of the Indiana Fever Sunday night, the Lynx move to 2-0 heading into Wednesday's night's tilt with Lisa Leslie and the Los Angeles Sparks.

Numerous franchise records were either set or tied in Minnesota's 22-point win. Thanks to Paul Swanson, below are the highlights of a record-setting night:

Team Records set Sunday, June 7
Most points, first half -- 60
Most points, first quarter -- 34
Most field goals made, half -- 23 (tied)
Highest field-goal percentage, game -- .632 (36-57)
Highest field-goal percentage, quarter -- .929 (13-14), 1st
Most consecutive games to shoot 50%+ -- 3, 9/14/08 thru 6/7/09 (current)

Individual Records set Sunday, June 7
Highest field-goal percentage, half -- 1.000 (8-8), Charde Houston, 1st (tied)

Other notes from Sunday's tilt:
* Minnesota's lone miss in the first quarter was a Candice Wiggins 3-point attempt at the 6:18 mark. The Lynx made their first five and final eight shots of the quarter.

* Minnesota scored 26 points off 18 Indiana turnovers, one night after setting a franchise record by turning 22 Chicago miscues into 34 points. The Lynx' 13 steals match the sixth-highest total in club history.

* The final 22-point spread represents the second-biggest road victory ever for the Lynx, trailing only their season-ending 96-70 triumph at Washington last Sept. 14.

* Combined with Saturday's 102-85 home triumph vs. Chicago, it's the second-highest two-game point total (198) in franchise history. Minnesota racked up 206 points on May 31-June 2, 2006 (114 vs. Los Angeles, 92 vs. Indiana).

* Tonight's win was also the first for Minnesota on the road in a back-to-back situation since July 15, 2004 at New York (a 69-66 decision). The Lynx have four back-to-back sets overall this summer; the next one occurs June 16-17 (at Sacramento, at Phoenix).
