The Minnesota Lynx announced that they have waived training camp invitees Kamesha Hairston and Aisha Mohammed. With the transactions, Minnesota's training camp roster now stands at 13 players.

Hairston and Mohammed were both signed to training camp contracts on May 11, 2009. In Minnesota's lone preseason game on Saturday, May 23 vs. Indiana, Hairston tallied three points, one rebound and one assist in just under six minutes. Mohammed totaled three rebounds in three minutes of playing time. Minnesota has until 1:00 p.m. CT on Friday, June 5 to finalize its 11-player opening night roster.

The Minnesota Lynx open their 11th year of basketball in the Twin Cities on June 6, 2009 vs. the Chicago Sky at Target Center. The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a 2009 regular season magnet schedule.
