Augustus Scores 38, Lifts Galatasaray to EuroCup Finals

It was just one of those days on Thursday for Lynx superstar Seimone Augustus.

Needing to overcome a 14-point deficit courtesy of a 61-47 loss in game one of the two-game, total-point series, Augustus and Istanbul-based Galatasaray did just that, using a 40-11 second-half outburst to claim a 62-39 win over Russian club Dynamo Kursk.

Augustus nearly outscored the Russian club by herself, collecting 38 points (on 17-for-22 shooting), four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 37:59.

With the win, Augustus and Galatasaray advance to next month's championship series where they will take on Italian side Cras Basket Taranto.
