LYNX NOTES:
Forward Nicole Ohlde was the only Minnesota player to score in double figures. She set the team high in points (10) and rebounds (9). She added one assist, two steals, and a blocked shot in her 32 minutes of action.

Center Vanessa Hayden left the game in the second half with a knee injury. She had contributed seven points and five rebounds up to that point.

This was the fourth consecutive loss for Minnesota. The last time they lost four straight was in July 2002.

The Lynx turned over the ball 21 times for 15 points. They average 15.9 turnovers per game.

MONARCHS NOTES:
The Monarchs tied their season-high for blocks in a game with six.

Forward Rebekkah Brunson led all scorers with 14 points. She also grabbed a team-high seven boards.

Forward Nicole Powell had her 13th double-figure scoring game of the season. She scored 10 points, dished three assists and added two steals.

Center Yolanda Griffith contributed eight points, including a perfect 2-of-2 from the charity stripe (her second-consecutive perfect effort from the free-throw line).

The Monarchs tied their season-high in steals with 15. Griffith set her season-high with six. Forward Hamchétou Maïga also set her season-high in steals with three.

The Monarchs outrebounded their opponent for the fourth consecutive time. Despite a slow start on the boards, they outrebounded the Lynx 29-27 tonight.

The Monarchs scored 67 points again tonight, as they have in every game against the Lynx in the 2005 season.
