Minnesota has four players on the ballot for the 2003 WNBA All-Star Game: Svetlana Abrosimova, Teresa Edwards, Katie Smith and Tamika Williams. Don't forget to write-in Sheri Sam on your ballot! Sam, the only Lynx starter not listed, appeared in last year's All-Star Game (as a member of the Miami Sol) but was not selected by the media for this year's ballot.

Fans are allowed to vote online once per day, every day, through June 24. The 72 players included on the WNBA All-Star ballot represent all 14 teams in the WNBA. Fans will select the five starters for the Eastern and Western Conferences, and reserve players will subsequently be selected by WNBA head coaches. Los Angeles head coach Michael Cooper will lead the Western Conference All-Stars, and New York head coach Richie Adubato will guide the Eastern Conference squad.

The 2003 WNBA All-Star Game, the league's fifth all-star event, will be hosted by the New York Liberty and the city of New York on Saturday, July 12 at Madison Square Garden. The game will make its broadcast debut on ABC beginning at 3:00 p.m. CDT.

The Lynx kicked off the 2003 in-arena balloting during Friday's game against the New York Liberty. Lynx mascot Prowl cast the first official ballot during the game. In-arena balloting will continue during the Lynx' home games on June 17 vs. Houston and June 21 vs. Indiana.
