The Minnesota Lynx Read to Achieve program is a year-roundliteracy program to help students and kids developa life-long love for reading. Reaching an estimated 50million children per year, Read to Achieve is the mostextensive education outreach program in the history ofprofessional sports. During the season, Lynx players hostreading timeouts throughout the Twin Cities area.

On Thursday, May 23, Seimone Augustus and Monica Wright will host a Reading Time-Out at Bethune Community School in Minneapolis. The pair will be reading to a group of 30-40 third and fourth grade students as part of the teamís Read to Achieve program. Augustus and Wright will talk about the importance of reading and working hard to the group before handing out Lynx prizes and posters to the students, while posing for pictures with the group.
