It’s time to Go Pink for breast cancer research and support programs in Minnesota! Join us for the second annual U.S. Bank Lynx Go Pink carnival celebration on Saturday, July 26 2008. Join us from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. as we transform Target Center into a pink carnival, enjoy tasty treats, fun games, and quality interaction with Lynx players and coaches. All proceeds benefit the Jean Stankoski Scholarship Fund and the Minnesota Lynx Foundation.

Enjoy carnival fare from corn dogs to cotton candy and try your hand at mini golf, bean bag toss, plinko and more, all staffed by the Minnesota Lynx players and coaches. This is a great opportunity to get autographs and photos.

Check out the prize wheel and bid on unique Lynx experiences and autographed merchandise from around the league at the silent auction.

5:00-5:30 Live Program: Celebrate, Congratulate and Honor
Be there to celebrate the second recipient of the Jean Stankoski Scholarship, congratulate the 2008 Lynx Foundation grant recipient and honor a local woman for her outstanding spirit.

The Jean Stankoski Scholarship Fund
In the fall of 2006, long-time Timberwolves and Lynx employee Jean Stankoski lost her battle with breast cancer. Jean was an advocate for post-secondary education opportunities for all – volunteering as a scholarship selection committee member for many years. The Timberwolves and Lynx are proud to honor Jean with the founding of the Jean Stankoski Scholarship Fund. The fund will provide post-secondary education scholarships to Minnesota students directly impacted by breast cancer in his or her immediate family.
