The Lynx couldn't have won the 2011 WNBA championship without the support of their fans in Minnesota. As the team closes out the first week of 2012 and received their rings on opening day, the Lynx said thanks to all the fans for all their continued support.

On Thursday the Minnesota Lynx Foundation donated $5,000 to Pay It Forward Fund, which helps breast and women's cancer patients pay their bills while undergoing treatment, during a special in-game presentation as the Lynx took on the Los Angeles Sparks.

The Minnesota Lynx return home to face the Los Angeles Sparks in a battle of unbeatens tonight at Target Center. The Lynx were 4-1 against L.A. last season. Tipoff is set for 7 PM.
Devereaux Peters and Jess Adair joined Lynx mascot Prowl at the Downtown Minneapolis YMCA on Friday to help teach FAIR School students the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The two Lynx players led the students through a series of exercises and activities during the FIT Clinic.

When Lynx star Seimone Augustus left Sunday's game with a rib injury, the Lynx didn't panic. Their deep bench helped expand their lead, proving once again they'll look to all 11 players for strong minutes this season.
