The Liberty, in partnership with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, will host a toy drive on Saturday, July 12 prior to the game vs. Eastern Conference rival, the Detroit Shock.

The first 500 fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy will receive a commemorative New York Liberty magnet set. Collection bins will be set up in the mall area outside the Madison Square Garden Box Office. All toys will be donated and distributed by Liberty players to children in local children's hospitals.

The Garden of Dreams Foundation is a non profit charity that works closely with all areas of Madison Square Garden, including the Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Entertainment, MSG Media and Fuse to "make dreams come true for kids in crisis". Garden of Dreams partners with local children's hospitals, "wish" organizations and community-based organizations to build on-going, unforgettable programs for children in the tri-state area who are suffering from devastating illness, homelessness, abuse, hunger, extreme poverty and tragedy.
