LY: I’m not quite sure if it has really hit me yet. But it’s unbelievable that I’m apart of such an incredible company and that we have the a great potential to win the Championship.
Nyliberty.com: Is playing in the WNBA a dream come true?
LY: In so many ways I’m living a dream - playing with the best players in the world, living in New York and getting paid to play a game that I’d play for free!
Nyliberty.com: How has transition from Miami’s offensive and defensive sets compare to New York’s? How different are the two?
LY: Actually Coach Adubato and Coach Rothstein have very similar mind sets, so the transition has been relatively smooth.
Nyliberty.com: Which fellow Liberty players do you admire?
LY: It’s hard to pinpoint who exactly I admire the most because each veteran has really been helpful to me. I respect them all and look forward to this season.
Nyliberty.com: What assets can you bring to the team?
LY: I think that I bring a certain versatility that other teams may not have. I can play on the perimeter as well as the post.
