MSG Announces 2009 Liberty Telecast Schedule

New York, NY – April 9 – MSG announced today the official 2009 New York Liberty television schedule. This will mark the 13th season that MSG has served as the television home for the  Liberty, having telecast games since the inaugural season of the WNBA. Once again, MSG will telecast more games than any other local TV channel in the WNBA.

The first Liberty games of the 2009 season on MSG are a home-and-home series on Saturday, June 13 at 8:00 p.m. and Friday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. against Becky Hammon and the San Antonio Silver Stars.

Mike Crispino and Kenny Albert will be sharing the play-by-play responsibilities this season for the Liberty on MSG alongside Mary Murphy who will provide in-game analysis. Crispino also serves as a part of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers television/radio play-by-play broadcast team and Albert can be heard calling play-by-play for New York Rangers radio on MSG. Murphy, a long-standing personality in women’s basketball, returns for her fourth season as a basketball analyst with the Liberty.
