The Sparks will make their lone regular season visit to The World's Most Famous Arena on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The Liberty is looking to extend its two-game win streak over Los Angeles, having swept the Western Conference squad in both showdowns last summer. The reigning WNBA Most Valuable Player, Candace Parker,�will be appearing in her second game of the season after starting practice late last month. In her rookie�campaign against New York, Parker averaged 15.5 ppg and 10.0 rpg.

Liberty fans fondly�remember last season's dramatic�game against�the Sparks at The Garden, as Janel McCarville sunk a�lay-up with 6.4 seconds remaining to seal the 68-69�victory.

New York owns the all-time regular season series advantage at 13-11 and boasts an 8-5 all-time record against the Sparks when playing the role of host. Both clubs are looking to get back on the winning track after sluggish starts to the summer.
