Golden Maddies: And The Winner Is ...

Cue the cheesy awards show music, because the time has come to announce the winners of the second annual Golden Maddies! Sure, the most glamorous awards ceremony of them all is a tough act to follow, but as the Liberty has proved over the last 12 years, we don't mind a little competition.

Over the course of a month, we took a page from the Oscars' book by taking their categories and translating them to the world of hoops, most notably the 2008 season. Plus, we left it up to our loyal fan base to vote on the winner.

Unlike the Academy Awards, our ceremony won't go on for hours, be filled with boring acceptance speeches or have Ryan Seacrest asking awkward questions with fake enthusiasm. We don't roll like that.
