Crystal Robinson Signs with Liberty

New York, (February 9, 2004) – The New York Liberty has signed veteran forward Crystal Robinson to a multi-year contract. The announcement was made today by New York Liberty Senior Vice President and General Manager, Carol Blazejowski.

The five-year WNBA veteran is the Liberty's all-time leader in three-point field goals (311). The 5-11 Oklahoma native finished the 2003 season with a career year in points, averaging 12.0 ppg.

“In my mind Crystal is one of the best two-way players in the WNBA -- it was one of my top priorities to ensure she remains in a Liberty uniform,” said Blazejowski. “And, while Crystal may be best known for her offensive prowess, she is one of our strongest defensive players, there’s no question she brings value to our team on both ends of the court.”

Conditions of the contract were not released per team policy.
