What do you do at the airport to help pass the time?

Forward Tiffany Jackson
“I will snack when I’m at the airport.”

Guard Loree Moore
“I read, listen to music or will play Gameboy Advance.”

What is your favorite part of life on the road?

Forward Cathrine Kraayeveld
“I enjoy getting a chance to see friends that I don’t get to see that often, as well as getting ‘miles’ so I can eventually get free tickets.”

Forward Tiffany Jackson
“Exploring new malls and stores to go shopping.”

What is your least favorite part of traveling?

Forward Janel McCarville
“The flights – airplanes just aren’t made for tall girls.”

Center Martina Weber
“Flying, because I am scared of it.”

Guard Ashley Battle
“Carrying around dirty clothes.”

Guard Erin Thorn
“Sitting around in the airports and on the plane.”

Which items go with you on every road trip?

Forward Tiffany Jackson
“I pack lotion, hair products, a book, make-up and my iPod.

Guard Loree Moore
“It rotates from time to time, but I always have my backpack, iPod, a book and some puzzle.

Forward Janel McCarville
“My iPod and Bose headphones.”

Forward Cathrine Kraayeveld
“My pillow, cell phone and iPod.”

What is the funniest or weirdest thing that has happened during a road trip, during your WNBA or college career?

Guard Ashley Battle
“Having a charter bus get pulled over for a speeding ticket.”

Guard Erin Thorn
“Watching one of my coaches get scared over turbulence on the plane.”

Forward Janel McCarville
“Our flight was cancelled and the only seats open on the next flight was first class – so we were living large on one trip during college.”

Forward Cathrine Kraayeveld
“On a college road trip, I brought my pillow with me and stored it in the overhead compartment. Before I knew it, a guy sitting in the aisle seat opened up the bin, took out my pillow and used it. He didn’t even recognize that it was a normal size pillow and not an airline one. My whole team got a laugh about it.”
