Pre-Season To Feature Pair Of Matinee Match-Ups Against Conference Rivals

New York, NY – February 18 – The New York Liberty will tip off the 2010 WNBA pre-season with matinee match-ups against two Eastern Conference rivals, it was announced today.

The Liberty will visit our nation's capitol on Wednesday, May 5 at 11:30 a.m. to face off against the Washington Mystics at the Verizon Center. On Tuesday, May 11, Madison Square Garden will host the Liberty's fifth annual "School Day" game against the Connecticut Sun, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The "School Day" game offers schools and community groups from the New York tri-state area with the opportunity to bring its students to an educational and affordable outing at The World's Most Famous Arena.
