Liberty Tip-0ff Mind.Body.Spirit

On Wednesday, May 21st the New York Liberty's Tamika Whitmore and Crystal Robinson helped tip-off the "WNBA Mind. Body. Spirit." program at the Dunlevy-Milbank Center in Harlem, in conjunction with the first annual "WNBA Mind. Body. Spirit." week.

Whitmore and Robinson were joined by former New York Liberty fan favorites Sue Wicks and Kym Hampton along with WNBA President, Val Ackerman and NBA legend Nate "Tiny" Archibald.

The "WNBA's Mind. Body. Spirit" initiative, centered around community involvement focuses on the importance of good nutrition, regular exercise, and a positive self-image.

"WNBA Mind. Body. Spirit." embodies the league's passionate commitment to cause-related activities and our active engagement in our team markets and other communities across the country," said Val Ackerman, WNBA president. "This program addresses issues that are critically important to some of our most dedicated fans - women and young girls and boys - and we are excited to launch the season with a community-focused initiative."
