During its game on Sunday, June 3rd versus the Phoenix Mercury, the New York Liberty will honor the 2006-2007 Rutgers University women's basketball team for their inspiring and magical run through the 2007 NCAA Tournament, on-court during the first half.
The Scarlet Knights finished their season with a 27-9 overall record, and competed in its first-ever national title game.
