Still, three-point shooting is not a big part of the Liberty offense; New York has taken 220 three point attempts compared to 411 attempts by their opponents so far this season.

The Atlanta Dream head into the weekend with a record of (11-6). After a fiercely successful start to the season the Dream have slowed down due to injuries to post Sancho Lyttle and guard Tiffany Hayes. Lyttle averaged 14 points, 8.5 rebounds and was second on the team in scoring, rebounds, steals, blocks and field goal percentage and third on the team in assists. Leading the way for the Dream are All-Stars Angel McCoughtry and Erika de Souza. The Dream suffered an 82-76 loss to the Phoenix Mercury despite 33 points and 8 rebounds from McCoughtry and a double-double of 16 points, 11 rebounds from de Souza. The two stars received little help from their teammates with no other player scoring over 7 points in the game. Atlanta shot 11% from three only hitting 2 of 17 three pointers.

Keys To The Game:

Take Care Of The Ball.
The Dream are struggling to get traditional offense out of their role players, therefore, they will need to get points off of their defense. The Liberty should take care of the ball and not bail them out by giving up easy transition baskets off of turnovers.

Take Advantage Inside.
Liberty Bigs are heating up and the Dream are down a top notch post player (Lyttle). The Liberty should get the ball inside and take advantage of their depth and skill on the interior.
