Liberty and Garden of Dreams Foundation Host School Supply Drive
Two-time Grammy Award winner Tye Tribbet to perform special postgame concert



NEW YORK, NY – July 21, 2014 – The New York Liberty will take on the Indiana Fever at Madison Square Garden for Back to School Day presented by Kids Foot Locker on Sunday, August 10 at 3 p.m. The day’s activities will also include a school supply drive hosted by the Liberty and Garden of Dreams Foundation and a special postgame concert by two-time Grammy Award winning gospel artist Tye Tribbett.

Tickets are still available by visiting nyliberty.com and the first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a reusable lunch bag giveaway, courtesy of Kids Foot Locker.

The Liberty and Garden of Dreams Foundation will collect school supplies, which will benefit the foundation’s partner organizations. Fans are encouraged to bring unused school supply items such as pens/pencils, markers, notebooks, scissors, and rulers. Collection bins will be set up inside Chase Square at Madison Square Garden for fans to drop off their donated items.

Tribbet will perform at center court of Madison Square Garden following the Liberty game against Indiana. The 45-minute set will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game and is open to all fans in attendance. Tribbett will perform hits from his five albums - Greater Than, Fresh, Stand Out, Victory Live and Life.

The Liberty are providing an exclusive ticket offer for groups of 15 or more individuals. For $35, fans will receive a ticket to attend the Liberty vs. Fever game, a $10 food and beverage credit and gain access to the postgame concert.
