Keys To The Game:
Take Care of The Ball
Atlanta leads the league in steals and forced 18 turnovers out of New York in their last contest. The Liberty have to be weary of the Dream anticipating in passing lanes and put focus on execution, shortening passing distance, getting better angles and coming to the ball. The Liberty don’t want to give the Dream any momentum off of steals.
If the Liberty are going to try and limit options for Atlanta they will likely key in on Angel McCoughtry and Erika de Souza, Atlanta’s inside-out, one-two punch. McCoughtry is the type of player a team has to hope to contain rather than shut down. On the interior the Liberty have a better chance of fighting fire with fire and should look to attack de Souza and win the battle in the paint for points and rebounds.
