New York Liberty Home Opener On May 17 Moved to Primetime
Return To The Completely Transformed Garden Televised Nationally On ESPN2
NEW YORK, NY – March 13, 2013 – The New York Liberty regular-season home opener on Saturday, May 17, originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. start time has been moved to 8 p.m., and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
The Liberty will host the Chicago Sky in the team’s first regular season game at the completely transformed Madison Square Garden. For the past three seasons the team has called Prudential Center home court, while The Garden underwent a historic, top-to-bottom Transformation.
