Farris is coming off completing her eighth year in the WNBA and her second season in a Liberty uniform. In 2007, she appeared in 28 games. Farris posted a season-high 11 points in New York's victory over Washington May 24th and pulled down a season-high nine boards in the win against Connecticut on June 20th. Before coming to New York, Farris spent six seasons in Detroit. She was a member of the 2003 champion squad and averaged 16.6 minutes and 2.5 rebounds in the Shock's post-season campaign.
