2007 Regular Season Series: Seattle won 2-0
All-Time Regular Season Series: Seattle leads 7-6

Coming off a two-game road stint, the Liberty return to The Garden to quiet the Storm for its first of two regular season meetings this summer ... The last time they faced off, on July 22, five Liberty players posted double figures in a down to the wire game ... Sue Bird sunk a three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining in regulation to give the Storm a 77-75 victory … Bird was unsuccesful on all of her shot attempts prior to making the game winner ... The last time New York beat Seattle on its home court was August 6, 2005 ... The Storm has won the last four games versus the Liberty.

KEY MATCHUP

Erlana Larkins
Position: Forward
Ht: 6-1
Experience: 1st Season
Stat Line: 6.3 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.3 apg

Lauren Jackson
Position: Center
Ht: 6-5
Experience: 8th Season
Stat Line: 18.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.3 apg

Skinny: The WNBA's reigning MVP finished with a double-double in both games of last summer's season series and will be looking to cause trouble again  for the Liberty ...  In order to counter Jackson, New York will need to be physical in the post, which may lead to more minutes for Larkins, one of the Liberty's first round Draft picks ... Larkins utilizes her big frame to typically be the most physical post player on the floor ... If she can use that strength and continue to be successful off the bench as she has in her last few outings, it could be the key to victory that New York has been without against Seattle in the past few seasons.

TEAM LEADERS

LIBERTY

Points: Christon - 13.3
Rebounds: Kraayeveld - 6.3
Assists: Moore - 5.3

STORM

Points: Jackson - 18.2
Rebounds: Jackson - 6.8
Assists: Bird - 6.5
Etc, Etc.: In nine consecutive seasons, New York has won its fifth game of the regular season and holds a 10-1 record in that game… The Liberty will look to continue that trend against the Storm.
